Tiger Woods was examined by Florida State troopers last month to check for upper body injuries a Florida news station is reporting.

WESH said that Tiger lifted his shirt at a December 1 meeting so that investigators could check for additional injuries after he crashed his SUV into a tree on Thanksgiving night.

Internet reports have previously stated that Woods suffered numerous injuries to his upper body from the crash.  Some speculated that injuries to his face may have been caused by wife Elin Nordegren, who had learned of her husband’s marital indiscretions earlier in the day.

Woods, who is known throughout the world as being one of the best golfers of all time, admitted to “transgressions” on his website shortly after a tabloid broke the story of numerous alleged affairs.  “I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves,” Woods wrote in early December.

Prior to the news of affairs breaking, Woods was the highest paid athlete in the world.  Since then, many of his endorsement deals have gone to the wayside, including multi-million dollar deals with Gatorade and the Tag Heuer watch company.  Nike, who distributes numerous products built around the Tiger Woods name, says they are sticking with the golf pro.
