Scott Brown is the new Senator of Massachusetts

Breaking News:  The Associate Press is projecting Scott Brown as the winner of the Massachusetts Senate special election.

Brown leads Martha Coakley 53 percent to 46 percent with just over 72 percent of the precincts reporting.

Fox News is reporting that Martha Coakley has just conceded by telephone to Scott Brown.

This seat was held by a Democrat for six decades.
