Michael Jackson murder investigation complete
The LAPD has completed their investigation on the death of Michael Jackson. The case is scheduled to go to the D.A. within two weeks.
Jackson was under the care of Dr. Conrad Murray when he died after falling into cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009. The condition was apparently caused by a lethal mixture of potent drugs propofol, lorazepam and midazolam.
Celebrity gossipers TMZ are reporting that their sources are just about certain Murray will be charged criminally in the King of Pop’s death.
The lavish Michael Jackson memorial that took place last July cost the city of Los Angeles millions of dollars providing security and crowd control. Yesterday, Jose F. Vallejos, a private LA citizen filed a creditor’s claim for the money on Wednesday, stating he is entitled to seek reimbursement as a taxpayer.
Jackson’s death caused a media frenzy and demand for his music was at a decade-long high. Just released reports show that Michael Jackson records sold more than any other artist in 2009. Before his death, Jackson had sold approximately 10,000 albums in 2009. One week after the singer’s death, the number of sales rose to 800,000. Within two weeks after his death Jackson had sold over one million albums.
